Why have professional Tool Boards ?

Professional tool boards are a great addition to your factory or workshop, no more searching round for tools as everything is in one place, tool boards can be wall mounted if you require them always to be in the same place or mobile so if needed they can be wheeled to where they are required.

We use the BOTT system to build these boards this is a German company and the quality reflects it’s long heritage, the boards can be powder coated to any standard RAL colour or coated with a tough vinyl in a large range of colours to cover the holes which is often used in food factories where bacterial ingress can be an issue.

So why not just keep the tools in tool boxes ?, how do you know all your tools are there ?, are they clean and in good condition ?, tool boards enable you to see at a glance what is missing or dirty/damaged this is essential if you are implementing 5s as part of a quality management system.

Mobile Tool shadow boards are great where you need to take the tools to the machine or where you don’t have enough wallspace for wall mounted boards. They can be single or double sided and can me made to different heights to suit your needs.

Wall mounted boards are good for keeping all the tools in one place so you can always find them, they can hold hand tools, power tools or a combination of both, they can also be made to hold specialist tools, batteries for power tools can be housed in shelves.

Tool boards are very versatile and can be made up to make lots of different sizes and can be coloured as required, shadows match the tools and you can easily see what is missing by its shadow. Description/sizes can be put on for spanners, sockets etc.

The Tool Board Process....

We can generally quote for your requirements from a tool list and photos of anything that is not standard. On receipt of a purchase order we then start to do a layout, if we can get the tools that is the best option but if not then photograph and measure them so that the shadows on the boards match accurately the tools. We can then send you a visual for approval, once approved we can then proceed to manufacture the boards and fit them if required. We can put a header and title on the boards complete with your logo. Our aim is to make the boards as easy to use as possible with all the shadows matching the tools.
Although there is a cost to this work in the long run it can save you money as you are no longer searching around for missing tools and it makes people take more care and ownership of their workspace.
